Terms
Mavraq is the trading name of James Maher, a sole trader based in Ireland. These terms cover the use of this website and the work Mavraq does for clients. Last updated September 2026.
This website
The site is there to explain what Mavraq does and to let you request a quote or book a call. Its content is general information, not advice for your situation. Nothing on it is a contract until a written scope is agreed and accepted.
The text, diagrams and images on the site belong to Mavraq or are used under licence. You can link to any page. Copying content for reuse elsewhere needs written permission.
Do not use the quote form or booking to send spam, test for weaknesses, or submit content you have no right to share. Requests that look automated are dropped.
Quotes and scope
A quote is a written scope with one fixed price and a delivery estimate, sent within one working day of your request or call. It stays open for 30 days. Work starts when you accept it in writing, by email is fine.
The price does not change unless the scope does. If you want something added or changed once work has started, Mavraq will say what it costs and how it affects timing before doing it, and nothing extra is charged without your written agreement.
Payment
Prices are in euro. The payment schedule for each job is set out in its written scope. Invoices are due within 14 days unless the scope says otherwise. Mavraq may pause work on unpaid invoices after a reminder.
How the work runs
You get a working prototype at set checkpoints and test it on real work. Feedback at each checkpoint is part of the job and does not change the price. Mavraq needs timely access to the people, accounts and information the scope names; delays in providing them push the delivery date back by the same amount.
Ownership and accounts
Everything is built in your accounts: your workspace, your subscriptions, your data. You own the result from day one, including the code, configuration and documentation Mavraq delivers, once the related invoice is paid.
Third-party services used in a build (for example an AI model provider, hosting or an automation platform) have their own terms and charges, which you agree to directly with them. Mavraq will tell you what those services cost before they are used.
Support and refunds
Every build comes with two weeks of free support after launch to fix anything that does not work as scoped. After that, support is available on a monthly retainer agreed separately.
Work is bespoke and billed against a scope, so there is no general right of refund once work has started. If Mavraq cannot deliver what was scoped, you are not charged for the part that was not delivered. If a job is cancelled part way, you pay for the work done to that point at the rate implied by the scope, and you keep it.
Confidentiality
Anything you share about your business is used only to do the work and is not passed to anyone else. Mavraq may name you as a client and describe the work in general terms unless you ask otherwise. How personal data is handled is in the privacy page.
Responsibility
Mavraq builds systems that act on your instructions, including AI agents that talk to your customers. You decide what they are allowed to do and you check their output before relying on it for legal, financial or medical decisions. Mavraq is responsible for building what was scoped, with reasonable skill and care.
Mavraq’s liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Mavraq is not liable for lost profit, lost data you did not back up, or losses caused by third-party services being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and any dispute goes to the Irish courts. If something goes wrong, email hello@mavraq.com first and it will be sorted out directly where possible.
