A Monday at the front desk

Eight jobs that fill a practice's front desk on a Monday. Tap one to see it after a Mavraq build has taken it over, or switch the whole day at once.

  1. 08:30

Every line rings at once. While the desk is on one call the others ring out, and a caller who can't get through may try another practice.

  2. 09:00

Messages left since Friday evening: bookings, cancellations, someone in pain. Each one needs a call back, and plenty of people don't answer the first time.

  3. 10:00

Someone works down tomorrow's list, ringing or texting each patient in between everything else. On a busy day the list doesn't get finished.

  4. 11:00

A list of patients due back for a check-up, worked through by phone whenever there's a quiet minute, which on a Monday there isn't.

  5. 11:30

A clipboard in the waiting room. Later someone at the desk reads the handwriting and types up the answers.

  6. 14:00

Emails and website forms asking about a treatment or a price. They wait until someone has a minute, and by then the person may have booked elsewhere.

  7. 15:30

Asking patients at the desk to leave a Google review, when someone remembers and it doesn't feel awkward.

  8. 16:30

A newer member of staff asks how the cancellation fee works. Someone stops what they're doing to find the answer in a folder or an old email.

Illustrative. The times and jobs are typical of a practice front desk, not taken from any one practice. Bookings and reminders work from your own Google calendar and sheets; booking straight into your practice software is an add-on where the software allows it. Every build named here is on the price list.
